Indian Steps to open for season

Indian Steps Museum will open for the season on Friday, April 15.

The museum is one of the first Native American museums in the United States, quite possibly the first, according to the museum’s website. It houses numerous artifacts found along the Susquehanna River area.

Upcoming events at the museum include artifact discussions, wildflower walks and creek studies.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and holidays. Admission is $5 per person, or $15 for groups up to six people.
